Frequently asked questions

Is this proposal builder really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many proposals or quotes you create.

Do you store my proposal or client details?

No. Everything you type stays in your browser and the PDF is built on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Your draft is kept in your browser's local storage so it is there next time. Clearing your site data removes it, and the Clear all button removes your draft.

What should a project proposal include?

Most proposals include a short summary of the client's need, the scope of work, a timeline, the price, payment terms and a way to accept. This tool has a section for each, and the starter templates fill in sensible wording you can edit.

What is the difference between a proposal and a quote?

A quote is mainly a price for defined items. A proposal also explains the approach, scope and timeline so the client can decide whether to hire you. Use the Quick quote template for a short price-only document, or a full template when you need to make the case.

Can the client sign it?

The PDF includes an optional signature block with name and date lines for both sides. The client can print and sign it, or sign it with a PDF tool. This is a signature area, not a built-in e-signature service, and whether a signed document is binding depends on your local law.

Can I add my logo and brand colour?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo and pick an accent colour. Both appear in the live preview and the PDF.

Which currencies and taxes are supported?

Sixteen currencies including INR, USD, EUR, GBP and AED, formatted the way each is usually written. Give the tax a name such as GST or VAT, enter the rate, and it is worked out after any discount. Tax rules differ by country, so check what your documents must include.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. On a small screen you switch between Edit and Preview, and the Download PDF button stays within reach.

Can it email the proposal to my client?

Not yet. Download the PDF and attach it to an email or send it on WhatsApp. Keeping everything on your device is what lets us promise we never see your data.
